OUR STORY

Our Story

Some people believe in soulmates. Others believe in an invisible string, tying two people together no matter how far apart they are. Our story feels a little like both.

Connected by an invisible string

We first met as kids, just 11 and 12 years old, at a little river dock arcade. A broken ski ball machine poured out tickets in a rush of chaos, and in the middle of that laughter, we found each other. For a few magical days, we shared numbers, poems, and a young crush that felt endless. Before leaving, he hid a mood bracelet in the sand with a poem as a clue—a secret gift that would live on in memory long after we had to part.

Where it all began

Life carried us to different cities, different paths. We grew up, stumbled, made mistakes, and learned the lessons only time can teach. Yet every few years, that invisible string tugged us back together—short bursts of conversation, reminders of the spark we had once felt. Though distance kept us apart, the thread never broke.

The thread never broke

Then, as adults, the string pulled tight. When we reconnected, something was different. We spoke with honesty, with nothing to lose, and discovered that every hardship, every heartbreak had prepared us for this. We shared truths we'd never shared with anyone—our pasts, our dreams, even the scars. Instead of pushing us away, it wove us closer together.

Woven closer together

What began as a childhood crush has become a love rooted in trust, honesty, and fate's quiet hand. After years of being guided back to one another, we finally understood: this was always meant to be.

Always meant to be

Now, after all this time, we are ready to follow the string to where it has been leading us all along—forever.

The Day We Said I Do

On a beautiful February day, with his brother and sister-in-law, and her sister and boyfriend by our side, we made it official. No grand venue, no elaborate plans—just two people deeply in love, finally saying the words we'd carried in our hearts.

It was perfect. It was us. And the very next morning, we flew to Hawaii to begin our greatest adventure yet.
